The Missouri State University Student Photographic Society is pleased to announce their exhibition juried by Zora J. Murff, now on display from May 20-August 20, 2019. Please join us for the reception in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk on June 7, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

The juror chose 20 images for the exhibition from more than 115 total submissions. All the images on exhibit were made by MSU students in the photography program within the Department of Art and Design.

Zora J. Murff is a visiting artist professor of photography at the University of Arkansas. Zora's work explores how photography is intertwined with social and cultural constructs. His work has been exhibited nationally, internationally, and featured online. Publication of his work has been included in Aperture Magazine, The New Yorker, VICE Magazine, The British Journal of Photography, and The New York Times. Among many other awards, Zora was named a 2019 Aperture Portfolio Prize finalist. Zora's first monograph, Corrections, was published by Aint-Bad Editions in 2015 and his second monograph, LOST, Omaha, was published by Kris Graves Projects in 2018. Both books are available for purchase online.
