The HMS Neverland sets sail from Victorian England for the distant island of Rundoon. Onboard is a mysterious trunk containing a precious cargo of starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. Among the passengers is Molly Astor, a precocious 13-year-old Starcatcher-in-training on a mission to protect the magical treasure. Also on the journey is a young orphan, known simply as Boy, who has been sold to the ship’s cruel captain. When a band of pirates led by the villainous Black Stache seizes the ship, Molly and Boy join forces to save the treasure — and
discover the secret of never growing up!

An imaginative prequel to J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan story, Peter and the Starcatcher is a thrilling tale of love and courage.

Rated PG.
