Description

Jake Skidmore will present an overview of ConocoPhillips and the opportunities for internships and full-time positions with the IT organizations. He will discuss the details around the internship program, the new hire rotation program, the cybersecurity rotation program, and will take all questions related to ConocoPhillips, career opportunities, or career paths in IT. Jake will also be attending the College of Business career fair on Tuesday September 13th with the rest of the Missouri State recruiting team.

Jake Skidmore is a Springfield native who spent 8 years working in grocery before graduating from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in infrastructure in December 2019.

After graduation, he joined ConocoPhillips in August of 2020 where he worked as a Cloud Security Analyst primarily focused on AWS service compliance and governance.

Currently, he is on the ERP Technical team working with automated regression testing for business processes in SAP and is the Co-Lead recruiter for IT recruiting at Missouri State.
