This 8-hour class meets on Saturdays and will provide instruction regarding the FAA’s 14 CFR, Part 107 pilot requirements. You will receive information on airspace, aeronautical charts, weather, METARS, aircraft loading, airport operations, judgment & decision-making, radio communications and more. You will be given a progression of sample exams, which will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing you one-on-one opportunities with instructors.

Airspace classification, operating requirements and flight restrictions
Aviation weather sources
Effect of weather on UAS/drone performance
UAS loading
Emergency procedures
Crew resource management
Radio communications procedures
Determining the performance of small unmanned aircraft
Physiological factors affecting pilot performance (including drugs & alcohol)
