Date and time
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, September 11, 2017

Sigma Mu Sigma, the Missouri State University chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, will host a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in honor of the tragic day in history.

The first 75 participants to register will be required to purchase a t-shirt for $15 (2XL are $18). Additional participants will be required to make a donation for a race-style bib in the amount of $5 to be worn during the event.

The stepping will begin at 8:46 a.m., the time the first of the twin towers was hit. Participants will use the student section of the bleachers to earn steps/flights and will be asked to consider sociliting donations via pledges for number of flights or flat rate donations. This will be a come and go event to adapt to the needs of those participating and their schedules, so steppers are not required to be present for the entirety of the event.

Additionally, no participant will be allowed to accumulate more than the equivalent of 110 flights during the three hours and fourteen minutes of climbing. Spectators are welcome to attend and witness the event.
