Description

The Art and Design Department of Missouri State University is hosting an exhibition and benefit art auction featuring the works of Dwaine Crigger, who was an emeritus professor of art at Missouri State until his death in 2016.

The benefit auction has poignant ties to the community. After the tragic death of Dwaine and Judy Crigger last year, their children donated Dwaine's artwork to the Missouri State Art and Design Department. In the Crigger tradition, the department is carrying on his desire to help students succeed and has organized an online auction to benefit a scholarship in his and his wife's names.

While the majority of Dwaine's work was sculptural, there are a number of drawings and wall constructions available as well, ranging in size from 10 inches to 10 feet tall.
