Description

The Black Belt Achievement Series offers Blackboard Black Belts the opportunity to take their training and professional development even further to become Blackboard Grandmasters -- the true experts of Blackboard Learn. This series is an extension of the Blackboard Black Belt training series. Each Achievement course offers an in-depth look into one of the features or tools of Blackboard Learn to help users create the ultimate online learning environment.

Assessment Ace: Blackboard offers some amazing assessment features, and this course allows users to learn all about the various ways to assess students’ progress in a course. From creating test pools, surveys, assignments, and tests to using SafeAssign, LockDown Browser, and Respondus Monitor to prevent cheating, this course will help instructors know which tools are best for their courses and how to utilize them effectively.

Register through My Learning Connection, found in My Missouri State under the Profile tab.

Prerequisite: Participants will need to complete the Black Belt Level training prior to attending Achievement courses. Black Belt Level courses are presented through in-person classes and through video courses at Blackboard.MissouriState.edu in the Learning Management System for Faculty organization, found under the Community tab.

Upon completion of an Achievement course, certified Black Belts receive a digital badge to recognize this professional development achievement. Once all Achievements have been collected, users will attain the status of Blackboard Grandmaster and will receive a certificate and 4" magnetic patch to reflect their mastery of Blackboard Learn.

This course will count as one activity towards your Certified Distance Educator Award.
