Description

What truly brings happiness into our lives? A new branch of science -- positive psychology -- tells us that it is not what you (or your parents) think.  This workshop will investigate the latest discoveries in human behavior and neuroscience to explore what makes us happy (and what doesn't!), and how these findings are pointing to the necessity of core emotional, social and spiritual skill that we all need to know in order to thrive. You will learn a wealth of transformative practices and tried-and-true techniques for training the mind, cultivating inner peace, and enhancing your creativity. The grand finale will be a step-by-step process for making your dreams come true!

Instructor: Adam Campbell is a spiritual director, world traveler and passionate educator on the unconventional path of authenticity. He has taught classes on mindfulness and meditation, positive psychology, the hero's journey, infinity, music as a social tool, and regenerative design. He is grateful to Missouri State for inviting him to offer the class he wishes he could have taken in college!

This free online workshop occurs over six Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. March 23-April 27.

Space is limited to 20 participants
