Come for lunch and conversation about studying abroad as a person of color. MSU alumnus Desmond Warren will discuss the skills he gained from studying abroad that helped him land a job, learn a second language and finetune his hard skills.
We’ll also share how studying abroad can enhance your personal development and its potential to positively impact your life after graduation. Students will walk away with a better understanding of what it means to study abroad as a person of color, how to talk to family members who are opposed to the idea and what professional and personal skills can be gained through this once in a lifetime experience. One student will receive funding for a free passport at this event!
