Clarinetist Thomas Sanders will perform a recital, accompanied by MSU's Dr. Jeremy Chesman on the piano and organ.
Directly following the recital, Sanders will conduct a masterclass for those who would like to stay. It will include performances by students from the MSU Clarinet Studio. Sanders and Chesman will perform newly composed works that include Scrap-Drift by Amelia Brey and Mass for Bb Clarinet by Francisco de Alba. Both pieces are a result of a doctoral project addressing the development of the relationship between the Church and the LGTBQIA+ community.
