Student Affairs is happy to announce three candidates who will interview for the diversity transition and support coordinator position in the Office of Multicultural Student Services. Each candidate will give a presentation at an open forum on the topic: What does cultural consciousness mean to you and how will it inform your practice? 

Candidate William Chase Neely

Please join us to interview William “Chase” Neely. He's currently a lecturer of music and the director of percussion studies at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. In this role, he also serves as the recruitment coordinator and academic advisor for the department. Additionally, Neely is a member of the MSSU International Studies Planning Committee. Previously, he has worked as a percussion instructor at both Missouri Southern and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Missouri Southern, his Masters in Music Instrumental Performance at the University of Arkansas, and has gone on to get his Doctor in Musical Arts at Texas Tech University, to be completed in May 2022.
