Disability Resource Center: Director Open Forum

Please join us via Zoom to interview Dr. Joan Green for the director of the Disability Resource Center. Dr. Green served as the director of the Accessibility Resource Center at the University of New Mexico for the past 15 years. Prior to that, she served as the director/coordinator of Disability Support Services at Western Illinois University for 10 years. She taught as adjunct faculty in special education at the University of New Mexico, as well as in the K-12 school system.

Dr. Green obtained her bachelor’s degree in education from Illinois State University, master’s degree in education from Western Illinois University, doctorate in education from Northern Illinois University (ABD) and doctorate of philosophy from University of New Mexico. She has over 30 years of experience in serving students with disabilities.
