Please join us for an online author talk with crime novelist Allen Eskens. The event is hosted by the Ozarks Studies Institute, an initiative of the MSU Libraries. 

Eskens will read from his own works and talk about the craft of writing. He will also take questions from participants. 

Eskens is the bestselling author of "Nothing More Dangerous," a successful blend of crime novel and a coming-of-age story set in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks where loyalty to family and to "your people" carries the weight of a sacred oath. 

Other books by Eskens include "The Life We Bury," "The Heavens May Fall," and "The Deep Dark Descending." Allen is the recipient of the Barry Award, Minnesota Book Award, Rosebud Award (Left Coast Crime) and Silver Falchion Award. He has been a finalist for the Edgar Award, Thriller Award and Anthony Award. His books have been translated into 26 languages.
