Description

In your work, are you called upon to:

  • Deal with employees’ personality clashes?
  • Assist co-workers with interpersonal or workplace conflicts?
  • Help young people consider how to deal with bullying, fights with friends or classroom conflicts?
  • Talk with clients about how they manage either professional or personal disagreements?
  • Offer advice to colleagues on how to manage conflicts in your organization?
  • Mentor or advise future leaders in your organization?

If you answered “yes”, then you will benefit from developing communication and conflict coaching skills. A “conflict and communication coach” works one-on-one with someone struggling with a conflict or disagreement. The “coach” helps the person in conflict:

  • Talk through the conflict issues.
  • Better understand the situation.
  • See things in a new way.
  • Brainstorm options for managing the conflict or issue.
  • Learn conflict management skills.

This highly interactive training will be led by conflict coaching expert and scholar Dr. Tricia Jones. Jones is the CEO of Conflict Coaching Matters, a training and consulting organization with decades of experience serving government, higher education and private sector organizations. She has authored seven books and over 65 articles, including the best-selling book in the field of conflict coaching, Conflict Coaching: Conflict Management Strategies and Skills for the Individual. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the top practitioners and scholars in the field of coaching!
