Dr. Thomas Paradise is a professor of geosciences at University of Arkansas' J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Paradise also supervises the Petra Project Fahd Center and Middle East Program; an ongoing study, since 1990, of landscape change in the classical period city of Petra, Jordan.
