Karen J. Aroesty, Regional Director of Heartland Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will be speaking. 

Aroesty received her B.A. from Barnard College and her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law. She joined the ADL in 1995 as a member of its Regional Advisory Board and became regional director in 2000. Aroesty staffs the work of the U.S. Attorney’s Hate Crimes Task Force, a bi-state collaboration of representatives of federal and state law enforcement, education, advocacy and social justice. She educates law enforcement on hate crime and extremism. She has received numerous awards, including the Visionary Award from JPro Jewish Professionals of St. Louis in 2018.
