National TRIO Day Celebration

National TRIO Day Celebration
Date and time
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, February 28, 2019
Description

Join the Missouri State University TRIO Programs to celebrate National TRIO Day. On Feb. 24, 1986, a congressional resolution (H. Con. Res. 278) declared that Feb. 28, 1986, should be designated as "National TRIO Day" to commemorate the annual achievements of the Federal TRIO programs in communities across the country.

Our TRIO Programs support students, including those who are first in their families to go to college, or are from other underserved populations, such as lower-income families, have documented disabilities or are military veterans. Here at Missouri State, between the TRIO Upward Bound Program and the TRIO Student Support Services Program, there are about 300 students and families participating.

You are invited to come and recognize the work of TRIO programs, locally and nationally, including progam students, alumni and staff.

Please RSVP in advance
