A one-day, 6-hour workshop, providing law enforcement and fire protection agencies with the information necessary to utilize UAS as a daily asset and an integral component of public safety agencies.

This workshop will cover the following areas of information, as they apply to public safety agencies, such as law enforcement and fire protection:

  • The extra costs such as instruction and licensing
  • The FAA rules and regulation regarding UAS commercially
  • FAA, 14 CFR, Part 107 requirements, and overview of examination
  • Insurance, licensing and registration
  • FAA authorizations and waivers
  • Maintenance, flight logs
