Event Details:

The Sociology and Anthropology Dept. is looking for volunteers to assist Neighbor for Neighbor program participants at the Robberson Neighborhood Night Out and the Weller Neighborhood Night Out on Friday, August 22. Volunteers are needed from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. All volunteers will participate in a brief training session on campus before the events from 4:00-5:00, and then we will head to the events where volunteers will help out from 5:30 until 8:00 that evening. Volunteers are needed to work at tables promoting the Neighbor for Neighbor program, and to talk with neighborhood residents to recruit new participants into the program. A free pizza dinner and a t-shirt will be provided for all volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity please contact Dr. Mike Stout at mstout@missouristate.edu.
