Students for a Sustainable Future is hosting the Beehive Design Collective to present the mural "The True Cost of Coal."
"The True Cost of Coal" highlights grassroots resistance to industrialized mountain-top removal coal mining and features native Appalachian culture and ecology.
The event is free and open to the public, though if you are able to donate money, 100% will go directly to the artists. The Beehive Collective does not charge for their presentation or for poster-sized copies of their art. They rely on your giving.

"The Beehive Design Collective is a wildly motivated, all-volunteer, activist arts collective dedicated to “cross-pollinating the grassroots” by creating collaborative, anti-copyright images for use as educational and organizing tools. We work as word-to-image translators of complex global stories, shared with us through conversations with affected communities."
