The Music Department presents the 44th annual Elizabethan Christmas Dinners.
Welcome old friends and new to the 44th Annual Elizabethan Christmas Dinners, held on the campus of Missouri State University, Wednesday through Saturday, December 2-5, 2009. The Dinners will again be held in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom, with ample parking nearby. The Dinners are a unique celebration of the Holiday Season, our way of welcoming those who are new on campus as well as those who have been attending each year!
The Elizabethan Dinners are a tantalising blend of wonderful performances and an Olde English style menu of tasty dishes!
Three fine MSU choral ensembles will be featured: the MSU Chamber Singers serves as the Royal Court, the MSU Collegiate Singers sings and serves the meal, and The MSU Concert Chorale will again be added to the formal concert at the end of the Dinners. This fine group has been recognized nationally and internationally as one of the nation’s top college choirs. They will tour to Austria in May.
