Macbeth

Date and Time:
iCal
Saturday, December 05, 2009, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Location:
Craig Hall Coger Theatre
Event Details:

Flushed with victory over enemy forces, generals Macbeth and Banquo are met on a stormy heath by three witches who predict that Macbeth will become King of Scotland. Once this seed is planted, Macbeth and his equally ambitious wife will stop at nothing to fulfill the prophesy and secure their power!

One murder leads to many in a spiral of escalating evil, while the political, moral and natural order descend into chaos. Shakespeare's shortest tragedy moves at a rapid pace toward its inevitable, cataclysmic conclusion! Written circa 1600, the play¹s timeless themes still resonate.

Written by William Shakespeare
