The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is pleased to welcome speaking strategist Dr. Michelle Mazur to Missouri State University for a Meet & Greet and Workshop series.
Dr. Mazur is the founder and CEO of Communication Rebel and author of Speak Up For Your Business. Her bright personality and presence is sure to spark conversation as we discuss practicing civility in areas of business and education as a means to be a catalyst of change.
To kick off the series, meet Dr. Mazur in a casual setting for some hors d'ouevres and mingling on April 27, 5-7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to talk to Dr. Mazur about her books and your area of interest. This event is open to all.
Business leaders and entrepeneurs: The first workshop, Speaking Up For Your Business, For Profit, Not-For-Profit, But With Civility, will be held on April 28, 8:30 a.m. This workshop provides an opportunity to learn techniques to make your business an essential partner to your community. Breakfast served.
Educators and students: The second workshop, Breaking Boundaries While Building Bridges: Educational Contexts and Speaking With Civility, will be held on April 28, 1 p.m. This workshop addresses the issue of civility in the classroom and utilizing civility to help others speak up for the greater good. Snacks served.
