Jessica Cundiff, MSU alumna, Geology - 1998 will be making a presentation on career options you can pursue with a geology degree. Jessica says, "Most of us are aware of opportunities in academia and industry, but what about museums?" Jessica is currently a Curatorial Associate, The Department of Invertebrate Paleontology, Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. Jessica will give an overview of her job working in a museum's paleontology collection, outline the career path she followed, and discuss the various types of museum jobs relating to geology.

Jessica Cundiff has been at the MCZ (Museum of Comparative Zoology) for over 12 years. While at the museum, she has worked on many projects funded by NSF (National Science Foundation). Her daily responsibilities as the Curatorial Associate include overseeing the activities in the collection, supervising departmental staff, developing collection policies, working with visiting researchers, approving loan requests, and establishing curation procedures.
