Description

Beth Davey, 2018 Missouri Teacher of the Year, will be on Missouri State's campus speaking with undergraduate and high school students about teaching. She hopes to share her passion for teaching and help students recognize the value of being a teacher.

Dr. Stephen Kleinsmith, 2018 Missouri Superintendent of the Year, will be providing an opening statement.

A panel discussion will end the session. Panelists include:

  • Dr. Denise Cunningham, department head of childhood education and family studies
  • Mrs. Karen Engle, director of secondary education
  • Dr. James Satterfield, department head of counseling, leadership, and special education
  • Dr. Chris Ford, Fordland Superintendent of Schools
  • Beth Davey, 2018 Missouri Teacher of the Year

A light lunch will be provided. The College of Education is hosting this free event on April 26 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Hill Hall, room 001.
