Description

The African and African American Studies Program will hold a screening and discussion of Ava DuVernay’s 2016 documentary 13th, an “in-depth look at the prison system in the United States and how it reveals the nation’s history of racial inequality” (IMDB).   Dr. Jacynda Ammons from the Department of History will moderate a discussion.  Pizza will be served.
