Description

This year's Latinx Heritage Month Keynote will be a performance by poet and spoken word artist Denice Frohman. She will perform through storytelling, spoken word and poems. 

She is a CantoMundo Fellow, former Women of the World Poetry Slam Champion and Leeway Transformation Award recipient. Her work has appeared in The Adroit Journal, "Nepantla: An Anthology for Queer Poets of Color," "Women of Resistance: Poems for a New Feminism," and has garnered more than 10 million views online.

She has featured on national and international stages, most notably at Lincoln Center, The White House in 2016, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and more than 200 colleges and universities. She has a master’s in education and lives in Philadelphia.
