The MSU College of Education developed an innovative approach to teacher education beginning in 2014 called the Internship Academy.  Education students in their senior year may participate in a year-long, fully immersive, co-teaching experience in partnership with public school Master Teachers and Teachers in Residence.

Academy Director Sara Tipton and Program Coordinator Robin Koerber will present data documenting graduation, certification and employment rates that approach 100 percent for Internship Academy participants.

The luncheon will be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. Complimentary parking is available in the attached garage off of McDaniel Street. Feel free to arrive any time after 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at noon.

The Missouri State University Foundation is excited to host the Bears in the Know Luncheon Series. Thank you to Arvest, our presenting sponsor.
